The Guardian Blue Eye Charm represents a Nazar bead, which are traditional Anatolian beads used to ward off evil, similar to evil-eye traditions all over the world. The word “nazar” is derived from the Arabic word for “sight,” and is sometimes also referred to in Turkey as a “Blue bead” or “mavi boncuk.”

The cylindrical Guardian Blue Eye Charm has light and dark blue pavé-set cubic zirconia for the eye. Spokes which surround the eye which are electroplated with three layers of gold. In addition, clear pavé-set cubic zirconia surround the outer edge of the cylinder. Note that the charm does not have a screw-fitting but fits like a bead. Also, the silver is electroplated with 3 layers of platinum to retain it’s high shine and brilliance and the design details are enhanced by oxidation..
These beads have a hole diameter of 4mm and are fully compatible with most major European charm bracelets.
